OPERATION

The foundation of all our evangelistic work is Jesus Christ and the spiritual and social upliftment of the poor and underprivileged irrespective of age, gender or race. This goal is met through different types of outreaches and spiritual services. Our aim is not to plant churches, but to introduce people to Jesus and connect them with local churches that can look after their spiritual needs and then we can support those churches with their physical needs where possible.

Evangelistic Outreach of Hope is concentrating on: 1) Spiritual outreaches to all areas of Bloemfontein; 2) outdoor services; 3) food and clothing outreaches; 4) outdoor gospel film and music outreaches; 5) prison ministry; 6) prayer meetings; 7) tent services; 8) children’s services.

During most of our outreaches we found that it is mainly children attending and that these children were very neglected and spiritually poor. We then decided to put up a tent in Heidedal, in a very poor and drug infected area. The idea is to have children's services every Friday afternoon in an attempt to introduce Jesus to these children and for them to bring their parents to Christ.

We also show gospel films and play gospel music in very poor areas in an attempt to reach people and connect them with local churches in their area.
